PHOTO SHOOT! Four 1.8T's... NO 56K!
I posted this in off topic too... they aren't ALL A4's
So my brother is here for fathers day... it isn't too often he's home, but when he is, we've got four 1.8T's in the driveway.
I took the opportunity today to snag some photos of them all posing... haha. Too bad my car is the only dirty one out of the bunch! I spent the better part of the day fighting with my car, trying to get the ride height where I want it... I think (possibly) that I have it where I am happy. I might want it a bit lower up front, though. Anyhow, here they are! ... Sorry they are in such a random order.
The power at my disposal! Mwa hahaha

Haha thanks for all the comments guys... the 'nicest driveway' comment made me laugh.
The wheels are 17x8 iForged Aero's... they are staggered, but only staggered offset. They are all 17x8, just different offsets in the rear, so the rears have a 2.5" lip, the fronts have a 1" lip. Safe for quattro... and most of the staggered look (save for wider rear tires).
Ahhh I need to wash my car. I waxed it yesterday (the reason it rained last night, obviously) and some birds got to it as well... (#%7.
Oh! And I think I'll be ordering exhaust on monday, so I can replace those fugly tips I have with beautiful milltek ones.

I can't remember what my offsets are... although I might be able to find out.
The only reason you shouldn't run a staggered setup is because quattro is a mechanical AWD setup, and it forces the wheels to spin at (roughly) the same speed... if you had bigger rear wheels, they would always be spinning slower... and the fronts would be spinning faster. Quattro would 'think' that the fronts were slipping, and would send power to the rear wheels. It'd be bad news fairly quickly!
You CAN run a real staggered setup, but you have to be careful with the tire sizes. Like a (i'm making these up, hypothetical!) 275/35/19 might be the same overall diameter (and corresponding circumferance) as a 235/45/18.
So in that sense you could actually have wider, and bigger rear wheels... but maintain a very similar tire circumferance. Sweet deal, IF you can find a tire size combo that is almost exactly the same. Me? I just run 225/45/17 on all four corners, since all my wheels are 17x8. Easy as pie, and looks staggered. I get that a lot, though... "Doesn't that kill your quattro!"
