Default Painted Lowers ?

I am looking to paint the lower black pieces on my car the same color as my car but when I talked to a body shop about the work they told me the paint might not adhere to the surface since they are plastic pieces. My question is for anyone who painted their lowers. What paint did they use and did it stick as well as it should?

Sand, Adhesion promoter, color cote, clear cote. If you search the forums with my screen name and painted lowers, you'll find a lot of info and pics from when I did mine.

No need to pay for that... its a very simple DIY just need to take your time and mask everything properly.

Use Adhestion promotor to get the primer to stick... SEARCH!

Flip, go to your local Audi dealer. Most Audi dealers have relationships with dent, paint or wheel finishing people. My local Audi dealer has a dent guy & paint guy that comes by once a week that fixes dents in their cars as well as customer cars. He painted my lowers for $300 and since he does the other Audi's on the lot he knows them pretty well. He also warranty'd them for as long as I own the car.

That is if you are too skidish to try it yourself.
