looks good... and explicit-i think that duplicolor silver metalic that people use for painting the lowers on a silver b5 would work... Ive been considering it.
pm me on this but i heard duplicolor "brilliant silver" , "radiant silver" , now "silver metalic" would match but i jus bought a can of radiant silver and it is a little dark so i don't no i need to paint my lowers badly tho , they bug the s out of me
is this your paint code

thanks bent, i took it off again today, one edge was a little lite and i guess the paint wasnt copleteley dry after 6 hrs and when i installed the grill mesh into the trim piece that it red i scuffed it up so im back to puttying and priming again right now.

This is reminiding me of Paul Wall, all this grill talk.

It looks awesome with a rs4 style grille like trailboss's, but I don't think it would look that good with a stock grille.

trailboss, i've run into problems like that before...the best way to do it is to cure the paint with a heat gun...let it sit for a couple hours to dry, then hit it with the heat gun for a while...it's basically the equivalent of painting in the summer and leaving it out in the sun for a while...paint will never completely cure until it gets heated up to the right temp

flyinb, the rs4 grill definitely looks better on trailboss' car because he's got the bumper to match, but i think the stock grill looks better than the rs4 if you've got the stock lower grills..

I did that on my old sedan - I loved the look, but haven't had the ***** to do it on the avant.
The red looks very good!
