Default Painted Calipers/ Back wheel stuck

I painted my calipers today but when i got to the back, the wheel i tried would not come off, it had ground clearance and i had removed all the bolts, i tried pryign and pulling but didnt want to do anything too hard because it was just on a jack. the rotor is not spinning with the wheel so it must be caught on the half axle, my owners manual say nothing about this so it must be a problem, do you think it has rusted on (it was removed just a few months ago for tires so i didnt think this was a possibility) Has anybody had an experience like this?
I think im gonna take it to discount tire and have them lift it so they can really pry at the wheels, any other advice would be good------oh and the front ones came out pretty good.

both rear wheels?

try giving it a whack with a rubber mallet... but like you said not too rough to knock it off the jack.

sounds to me like they are stuck on there

Probably some rust holding the wheel on. Give it some smacks.

Yea all four off my wheels were rusted on the hubs, just spray a little liquid wrench, let it sit for a while and use a BFH.

I don't know what it is about the Audi's but it happens all the time on mine. I've never had another car that does it so much.

I've used a mallet to pound them off. Sometimes it's so bad, I've had to use a 2x4 across the wheel and tire to knock them off because just pounding on the tire wasn't enough.

Yeah the piece of wood across the wheel works well... I just hold the wood flat against the wheel... and hit the wood with a big hammer. Works like a charm.
