Overboost... NEED HELP/Advice!
I've got a 2003(b6) A4 1.8T w/ kk03 running stock boost (now).... Other than that still on the carI've gota hybrid 50/50 dv/bov. I recently put a few things back stock to stock (my chip and had to put my Cat back on) and the Overboost codes started showing up via VAG-COM. . .
I can drive about 2 miles after startupand then the boost will be strong until appx. 3500-4000rpms then the power goes completelyflat and doesnt pull strong AT ALL.
I've heard it could be linked to internal wastegate flanges or hose leaks, but I need opinions on whats most commonly linked to these/this overboost conditions...
THANKS!

RE: Overboost... NEED HELP/Advice!
What dose your boost gauge read when you hit this flatline? Could be your WG opening or sticking open under boost.
Could be limp mode due to over boost in that case it would be the WG sticking shut, causing the turbo to build to much boost.

RE: Overboost... NEED HELP/Advice!
Put it this way, that got misunderstood due to my lack of explination. I'm at stock chip/boost. I'm leaning towards the N75 possibly being the problem since its never been changed...or the internal WG. I've kinda narrowed it down to these two.
