Ok time to get to the bottom of this!(Added VAG log)
(The crappy MPG I am getting is pissing me off. When I first bought my car back in october, the first few tanks I was getting like 27-28. Which sounds right to me since I drive like 90% highway at like 60-65 m/hr. But since then I haven't gotten any better than 21. In fact the last 2 tanks I have gotten under 20. I am maybe think it is an O2 sensor on the fritz, because my exhaust smells strong sometimes. I have vag-com version 311-2. How do you find out if they are dying? I have searched for this trust me.
Also I have already changed my sparks and air filter and my throttle body was as clean as a whistle last time I checked it. Some may say it is becuase of the cold, I could understand when it was like -10 or colder like 3 weeks ago, but it has been fairly mild this last week and a half. Close to 50 some of these days.

Dont you have new wheels? If they are much heavier than your stock wheels then youd notice a difference in mpg. Other than that, if your 02 sensor wasnt doing its job youd have a fault code if not a cel for it. What spark plugs did you switch to?

Per your instructions BK6REs or whatever you call them!
Oh and also, the new wheels aren't a lot heavier than the stock ones, I was pleasantly surpised, considering they are 3" bigger! [8D]

Not by the computer, if that is what you are suggesting. In fact I have a 99.5 so I don't even have that!
The way everyone does it, Miles driven/gallons put into tank.

It might be the fuel filter, but its doubtful with your low mileage.I would wait until the weather warms up a little more and see if it improves before you spend any money replacing something that may not be the culprit. Whens the last time you replaced your air filter?
