Oil pressure light on

Oil pressure light on
Oil pressure light came on today.I changed the oil 300 miles ago and it is clean. No engine noise. My question is can I use VAG-COM to check oil pressure before I take it to the shop? (New to VAG-COM)

RE: Oil pressure light on
Vagcom doesn't log oil pressure unfortunately. I'd have the oil pressure checked at a garage ASAP. If you have a 1.8T you may have sludege. If you can show that you have changed the oil every 5K miles Audi will cover you.

Ooops, missed the sig at the bottom.
Still have the oil pressure checked quickly Better to pay 50 bucks to find out that it is the sender than to trash the engine by assuming that the switch is the problem and oil pressure is OK.

Thanks, well I started the car after letting it sit for a few days, no oil light now, but a fair puddle of oil underneath thepan. Can't really tell where the leak is....off to the shop...
