Default oil Pan Leaking

I read from previous post that when u do an engine flush, u should also take off the oil pan and clean that. Well i recently did an engine flush and aftering draining my oil, i figured i unscrewing the oil pan to clean it. But then i realized that i couldn't take it off because of this bar in the way( i think its called a Struss Bar.) So i went and screwed the screws on the oil pan that i took off, back into the engine. Oh went well, but now my oil pan is leaking. The seals around it are even pealing off. I guess the seals might have gone bad because the bolts weren't put back at the right troque or something.

My question is, how do i go upon taking off my oil pan so i can clean it and correctly seal it back into the engine block? Thanks in advance!

You need to find a way to support the front of the engine. The bar thats in the way is the subframe. Its what holds the engine and tansmission in place. You will have to remove the bolts that hold it on in the front. Then you will barely have enough room to get the pan out.

It is a big job. You will need to lift the engine an inch or two to get access.

jack the engine on the snub mount then you need to undo the engine and gearbox mount to raise the engine, ensure the wheels are locked and a second trolley jack is under the gearbox to prevent it dropping for safety reasons

do you guys think it woul be alright if i keep driving the car the way it is till spring or summer of next year? Cauase its getting kinda cold now, so its hard for me to get down and dirty to work on the car. Do think its would probably be best to get a professional to do it, i read from previous post that some got it done for like $400? How long woulud u guys think a job like this should take?
