Default oil change help

hey guys..

thinking i wanna start doin my own oil changes... just wondering if there is a write up on it, looked around in the search and cant come up with what i want... kinda like the one you guys found for the brakes, which i did and they worked out wicked...

2000 1.8t... 125,000k's... what should i be doin on it... had the timing belt and thermostat done on it at 114k... what else should i be looking at... thinking in the near future maybe the plugs should be changed, filters... anything tips would be wicked...

oil change isnt that hard.....drain the oil, replace the filter, and fill her up with new oil =). if i had a lift, i'd take pics to show ya, but i dont.

chris... dont need the oil change right now cuz i just paid for one... but i was just wanting to look into things... ya i should pick up that changer already... hows thur maybe, took the day off... gotta head to the cottage to pick up some stuff

There's your diy right there! lol Seriously though, you don't really need a write up, just do it and ask for help if you get stuck.

Ahh, a few more weeks and I'll need an oil change! haha, we coulda done mine. But it is very easy. Some people say to get the filter from the top, by removing the coolant resevoir (moving it, not removing it)... I tried that last time -- NEVER AGAIN. lol, i'll get it from the bottom from now on.

But yeah, just email me -- thursday is sketchy for me... anytime after 3:30~ is good though.
