Oil change at dealer = giac flash removed!!
Yes, you read that right. Took my ride to the dealersip for an oil change. An hour later, I have fresh oil but lost alot of acceleration. I thought nothing of it but then after a couple of days it started buggin' me. I took my ride to the local shop that did the GIAC flash and it was confirmed, the flash had been removed, therefore I was running stock. Good thing the shop gave me a re-flash which gave me back my power!
I suspect the delaership cleared the service warning after changing the oil but there must have been a software update for my ECU or something that cleared the GIAC program, who knows. Anyways, something for you folks to watch out for.

Yeah thats really anoying how they did that without consulting you.
My question is since mine is a 99.5 which GIAC cant flashload does that mean the deal also cant just becuase of the older technology? If so I guess thats nice, lol

I would explain to the dealership that you received a service that you didnt want.. raise hell.. if they give you hell back.. take it to the point of stating that you had to pay out of your own pocket to get it reflashed.. and you want reimbursement.. LOL..
