oil or air? line 1/4' into intake manifold loosing boost
i just replaced my dv and a couple hoses and i feel like i have full boost. Now mynew problem is that in first gear i am having a problem with my dv blowing off before i let off the gas and i noticed every time this happens, the little 1/4' hose comming out of the front side of the intake manifold keeps blowing off. It only happens at higher boost, but it seems like its getting easier to blow that little hose off. There is no clamp and it slides on and off the little insertion pretty easily. It looks to have a little oil on it which seems to be why it slides on and off so easy. Every time it blows off, i notice a definate decrease in turbo boost throughtout the rest of the gears until i reattach it. what does this hose do, why is it happening, and will a zip tie work to keep it fastened on tight?

The oil is just a little bit of crank breather blow by. When I swapped DV I got splashed in the face and when I swapped IC, I founda bit of oil in the tube going through the lock carrier.
