Default OBDII Diagnostic Codes Questions

Just pulled the codes from my CEL with an OBDII reader. Got the following codes:

P0441 - Evap Emission Control System Purge Flow Fault
P0455 - Evap Emission Control System Leak (Large)
P1136 - Manufacturer Control: Fuel Air Metering

From what I found on the forums with the search engine, I'm guessing P0455 was related to a loose gas cap, and the 0441 and 1136 may have to do with an Oxygen Sensor and/or the MAF and/or a loose vaccuum hose.
My questions are: I cleared the codes (didn't do anything else) and they didn't come back right away. Does this mean the problem is solved, or just that the computer hasn't checked the system yet? If it is the latter, how long does it usually take before the error comes back / is redetected? How often does the computer run status scans?
On a related matter, my air bag light came on (after my buddy moved the passenger seat). I found the thread about how this could be related to a connector under the seat, which has to be cleaned, reconnected and then the light reset. My problem is, the airbag light didn't come up on the code scanner. Is there a different place to do the reset on this light? Did I miss something when I ran the code scan?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

I had the check engine light on and used and obd11 tester and got the code for P0140.
Searched the forums and found it is P0140 O2 Sensor Circuit - Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 2) B

Dangit, now where can i buy this from for cheap (autozone it is 170+ for bosch oem and 83 for universal).
Also, is it an easy DIY job? and should i replace both one time or wait it out???

i wouldn't replace a sensor if it's not bad..since they're so expensive...don't get a universal, OE is much better....it's not very difficult to do

Oxygen sensor is a 10 minute DIY job. Alternatively you can take it to any local garage, and they will charge you an hour's labour

I used a generic OBD II - Autozone.

Further update... After about 4 days of driving, the CEL came back on. I pulled the code this time, and got a P0455. EVAP System leak (large). Since I know I didn't leave the gas cap off or loose, I guess this means I have a leak somewhere. From what I could see on the forums, it looks like I have to do some vaccuum line tracing. It doesn't give me any problems when running, and I got 24.5 mpg on my last tank, so I don't think it's too critical. I wonder if this is related to my stall on fill up problem (car won't start after I fill the tank) After I crank it a few times and hold the gas pedal, it will start, then it runs fine until the next fill up. I made sure I didn't fill the tank the whole way this time, but it still did it.
