Default Is that normal? (Strange sound from blinker switch)

2003 A4 Avant 3.0 Q: when the steering wheel is turned in the direction of the blinker (while the blinker is on), I consistently hear a single "click". No such thing happens when the blinker is off. I imagine it is some mechanical artifact in the switch that turns blinker off on the return stroke of the wheel, but the sound is definitely strange, so I am wondering if mine is the only car that emits it, or this is a typical thing.

Unrelated: getting the cupholder out of the rear seat's elbow rest is a tricky exercise.... again, a general trait of the car or a mechanical defect?

I just got the car a few days ago (it used to be an overripe dealer demo) and haven't gotten used to all its quirks yet.... but that blue thing sure can turn!

its normal man its too tell you your turn signal is on so u dont leave it on when u finish making your move
and most cars have that annoying noise feature for their turn signal
