Default Noise from front end

Hey Guys,
2001 a4 6cyl
I'm getting a noise when I hit a bump.
Best way to describe it is it sounds like loose change.
Noise isn't that loud, only happens when I hit a bump.
Sounds like its coming from the driver side.

Any idea what this might be?
Control arm bushings?

Sounds like the caliper..I had the same problem. I s it more a "clonk" or more metallic?
Mine was very metallic-like, and happened especially on small bumps.

Definently more metallic.

Don't feel anything through the wheel, has not effected performance in anyway.

What goes on the caliper that results in this sound?
Anyway to check it to see if it's bad?

make sure you don;t have loose change in your pocket.
Doesn;t sound like a ball joint.. that would be more of a clunking.
