Default No power in the rain!!!

I have a 2001 A4 1.9 TDI. In the rain or after the car wash there is no power and will often die in first gear. When you gte going after you change gear, it audi will lose power for 2-4 seconds before kicking in. This will continue until dry and it's very sluggish.
Any help please!!

no codes, took it to an Audi dealer and they could not tell what wrong with it.

The only thing i can say is that it's only when it's wet, when dry it's perfect

your maf may be getting wet or somethign else, look in the engine after washing it and see what is wet when it happens again pull the maf and see if that changes anything

yeah sounds like you are getting water into your intake. just be sure all of your connections are tight. The MAF is located at after the air box it is the only sensor on/in the intake tube. You can not miss it when you look for it.

Super doubtful.. unless hes running his intake close to the ground, or did the airbox mod.[&:]

IF you drain the oil and its milky, then you have been sucking in water and need to change it a couple times to get it all out. But i have seen people that have had the ecu's get wet with rain/washes, that could also be something to consider.

only other way is to plug your laptop in and log the data with VAG whilst driving in the rain
