you wont put in a new clutch and have it be smooth right away. you need to wear it in, get the surface of the clutch friction material and the flywheel familiar with eachother. you will notice significant smoother grabbing. johnny, the guy before you may heve not broken it in well or has craptastic friction material. just drive it soft for 500-1k miles, no launches, no power shifts and ull be good to go
