well im happy... ecs shipped fast and reliably and these took literally 5 minutes to put on... two screws, the old slide off, and the new slide in... possibly the most simple install iv had experiance with...

upon installation however i realized the dire emergency of getting my new wheels on as fast as possible and also painting my lowers is now a complete necessity... il have to do for now tho... definatly will look better with my new wheels

As soon as my blades were on I knew I hadda paint the lowers - do it, you'll love it - reference this thread for the company that did Jhawk's for approx. 250$...

as for wheels, ya - that's gonna cost...

so heres a question... do they paint the lowers while they are on the car and just tape it off? or do they take them all off and spray them?

 

they probably just tape it off and paint.... and those look great man, the s4 door blades make me really like the looks of b6's

 

im gettign all my lowers painted for $150 lol by the dealership - they're good peeps

 

I found it worked best to take off the sides, but leave the front and back. The sides came easy and front/back were a bitch...possible to break tabs without the right body tools. I did mine for about $100 (DuPont Paint, PPG Clear, good flex primer) and about a week's worth of evenings. All in all, turned out pretty good for a first attempt.

And my girl is definately getting mad. She sees my big turbo kit as her possible rock. Cars and Girls: Both of them will eventually nickel & dime you to death.
