Whats up everybody? Gotta love a collective community of Audi enthusiasts coming together to share stories, opinions, and obsessions! Anyways, I have a 2000 A4 2.8Q. I have a VIS carbon fiber hood on it and my problem is that there are no windshield washer squirters. Correction that’s not my problem, as my spray bottle in the car does just fine. My real issue is that the computer seems to want to warn me 24/7 that I am out of washer fluid. You know the symbol, as it looks like pac-man puking. Is there anyway to get it to recognize that I simply just do not have my washers hooked up? Someone please shed some light on this for me. Glad to be a part of the forums!!

How do you drive with out washers ?
ohh by the way look for a ground connection on the washers

 

VIS hoods dont cator to the windshield sprays
did u just omit them or wut
you can just conntect them and stuff them somewhere there should be alot of places u can zip tie the hoses
hopefully that will solve the warning problem

 

Is it legal to do that? I know in ontario, you can't safety a car if the windshield washer fluid jets arent working properly -- let alone non-existent.

 

the sensor isn't in the jets, just fill up your reservoir and the warning should go away

 

i donno but when a cop ask u to pop your hood im not sure hes gonna be lookin for the windshield sprays

 

****, for real? Where I live... Im pulled over everyday. Cops always up in my grill about modified spray nozzles.

 

its also illegal in ontario to have those blue LED windshield washer ports. guy from work got pulled over ALL the time. it was a nasty *** jeep but, it still happend.
