Do you need some kind of scary giant robo-dremel, or could you do it with tools in the garage?

If you're running a bose system..the speakers are extremely overpriced. Are you talking about the rear deck speakers or the speakers in the rear doors? I purchased a bose rear deck woofer from the stealership for $155. This was actually a very good deal considering the other dealer I went to wanted $260 for it. If its the same speaker I would just unplug it till you either find someone that's sellin them used for dirt cheap or you have enough money to rip out the entire bose system and replace it. I advice against trying to replace just those speakers with something else as it will sound even worse than it does now. Bose aren't the best..but there is nothing that can match the sound field they produce.

just requires a simple dremel tool. I used air tools though, and it was quick work.
