Default new exhaust

00A41.8t GIAC
hey, im thinking of getting a new exhaust on my car, i dont know if i should go downpipe or testpipe?
and wat size should i get, will a test pipe throw me a CEL, and can the GIAC chip erase it by updating it?
also wat size should the whole exhaust be, becouse im also thinking of putting a k04 in it, i dont know if thats gonna matter.
thanks for your help

I would go Borla, it offers a well sized downpipe that is bigger than stock, but still allows pressure to build up with a K04/K03 turbo, thats my two cents.. then do a testpipe on top of that

sure does, copared to a milltek system on a A4. Milltek FTW on an A4/S4 ( remus sounds sexy too)
I like borlas on the TT's, APR/AWE on RS6's ..

I see quite alot of high performance audis weekly. Ive seen enough to have a solid opinion on exausts.

Well thats an opinion.. I love how my exhaust sounds.. got one resonator taken out.

Offers a deep sound down low, that gets louder as my revs go up... and if I am slowing down the air is filled with light small pops.. I fu*king am obsessed with my exhaust!

Without a resonator taken off it sounds near stock.. so I guess it sucks then? But Milltek is claimed to be the same way... having an exhaust thats light low and deep and not noticable defeats the point

It sounds like stock if the resonator is taken out?

Millteks come resonated and non. The non are beasts. The ones with it sound almost stock. BZEA4 on here has a Milltek system with a resonator and its pretty quiet.

however those pops you talk about sure are pretty nice to listen too..
