What clutch would u recomend for mostly city driving, decently smooth engagment and streetable, but able to handle a once a month launch and last another at least 80k miles? Maybe a lower catchin clutch.

City driving you won't need a puck style clutch disc, look at the stage 3 clutch disc on www.clutchmasters.com which has a full disc for smoother engagement. If treated right that clutch could last way over 100k miles.
[/quote] Thanks bro. I'm gonna keep that saved on my computer for the new year. My OEM clutch has 117k miles on it and still is 2 goood for everyday drivin 2 change 4 no reason. Your a great help to the forum, thanks.

apr recommends the spec 3, but ive heard of a lot of them failing on audizine... but i looking into the southbend ofe ss and they had a bad batch a while back with the wrong size rivets so the clutch lining was seperating...

ill probably get a southbend FE ss and be done with it.. i hear its a little tough as a DD, but has the feramic material on both sides and can take anything you can throw at it as far as hp and launches....

i have the TZ stage2 from southbend...and its very nice...full disc and kevlar... highly recomended...it should handle your launches...the guy told me they run them on BT setups and they hold great...

his example was.... "launch it 3 times a week and it'll last you 3 or more years"
