Hey fellas I just got my car a couple of days ago and the driver side seat belt is twisted more than it should be, is there any easy way to get to the bolt holding it at the bottom so maybe I can unscrew the bolt then straighten the belt and then just screw it back on. The bolt is underneath the molding down there so I don't know how to take the molding off and I don't wanna break anything.

The title says it's a new car meaning I just bought it sorry.. It's a 99

 

just pull the belt out all the way then straighten it up no need to take it apart, its a common problem even on new cars

 

dude I tried that already I pulled it out all the way and it's straight all the way through..

 

this could be difficult but you need to twist the belt in the hasp and it can be a pain but it can be done

Fellas the buckle is in fact where it is suppossed to be, but the belt itself is twisted around twice for some reason and it comes out nice and smooth so I know it's not twisted underneath the side panel and it's not twisted at the bottom either. it's like somone took it off twisted it and put it back..
