Default New to Audi help needed

Hii all,

I recently brought Audi A4 2.8 T, I dont know much about cars, can any one help me
in finding when was the last time the timing belt was changed, and what safety measured need to be taken.

Some help would be appreciated.

age of car/mileage/service history, check with Audi if the timing belt is logged for change/changed

CHANGE THY T-BELT NOW!!!!!

u can always snap open the cover a lil (30v 2.8) and see how it is

after a check and it doesn't come up with your expectations then change the timing belt/tensioner/idler rollers/water pump/oil pump, I know his seems over the top but if you intend to keep the car for a long time it could save you money in the long run

My Audi is 1997, 74000 miles.

So should i contact Audi directly for timing belt ???

hey look on ecstuning.com for all the stuff that you need. try not to go to the dealer because they usually charge an arm and a leg for everything. but check out the site.
