2.5 - i don't really know what i'm going to do with mods, depends on what happens in the future with me. but i know if anything, i will be going ko4, though a few (maybe many more) say it's worthless coming from a ko3s - but 2.5 is supposed to be ideal for the ko4. i was debating between that and 2.25 but as you can see.. i went with 2.5 - only from the cat back. i plan to change everything else in time (test pipe included).

i think i made the right choice.

 

perfect. get a big injector file to complement that exhaust

2.25" is ideal for k03
2.5" is ideal for k03s w/ BI file and k04's
3" is ideal for BT

I'm about to put my 14862 on my 2.8 - is it even worth me going cat-back with 2.5" piping?

 

if you go apr there is no big injector file, also think it is the same for the giac.... they didn't go big injector file till the b6's


also the car is right next to the turbo so if you went 2.5 from the cat back you are as far forward as you can go...... you probably have 2.5 from the flex pipe back

 

well i'm going dahlback, i'm told by a few that they tune specifically for each car.

by the way, i have an 01 w/ the same turbo as b6's.. so could it be relatively easy to get a big injector file done or is there more to it besides the turbo?
