Also take a look at Stop Tech. Here is the link.

Personally I have Hawk HP pads and I can't remember what brand rotors I have. They are cross drilled, but you could always go with slotted rotors. Hope this helps.

Doose! Are you are telling him to buy a $2000 brake upgrade!??? LOL!

Brembo have good rotors, as do Zimmerman.
Decent pads are EBC greenstuff, Mintex (redbox), Hawk...

Rotors and pads for all 4 wheels? I would suggest checking out ECS Tuning.

For an improved setup, I highly recommend the OEM 2 piece floating slotted rotors. You can get the kit that includes the rotor ring, aluminum hat, and the carriers from the A4 3.0. They're 23% lighter than OEM rotors and have many benefits found in big brake kits. This will mean that the smallest wheel size is now limited to 16" (compared to 15" for stock 1.8T).

For the rear, ECS is supposed to be releasing a OEM 2 piece floating slotted rotor kit, but has not yet been announced. They offer slotted rotors for the rear. I believe they are either Zimmerman or ATE rotors. That would be a nice improvement over OEM for little $$$.

For brake pads, there are lots to choose. I have Hawk HPS pads and love them. Mintex Red Box is good as are other brands.

Give ECS a call and talk with Tom. He'll get you what you need.

"Mintex Red Box is good as are other brands. "

I woulnt recommend Mintex red box. I am running them right now. They really didn't offer much of a benefit over stock, and they create about 3 times the amount of dust. I've got a box of Hawk's waiting to be installed now.

My mintex don't give nearly as much dust as the stock pads.
It's funny - some people see more dust, others see less.
Hawk are getting a good rep tho - I may go with those next.

brrman, I forgot to add I have ecs slotted rotors also. I'm sure thats a large contributing factor to my dusty wheels.

The Mintex pads are definitely a good way to do an easy brake upgrade. And if they produce less dust, that's an added bonus!!
