Default N75 valve questions????

I found out that I had a bad N75 valve today after getting my ecu scanned. I want to know a good price for a stock replacement and if I should upgrade to the ECS N75 valve instead. My car has a GIAC chip and no other mods yet.

2001 A4 MAN FWD.

An N75 related fault code doesnt necessarily mean the n75 is bad. They hardly ever go bad. What is the fault code #?

Here is what AWE Tuning report said:

1 Fault Found:
17956 - Boost Pressure Regulation Valve
(N75) : Open Circuit
P1548 - 35- -

They said to replace the N75 Valve and then to reset the ecu. They already reset it and I run around 13-15 boost now but, he said the error will likely come back untill the N75 is replaced.

Is $89.75 a good price for the N75?
Here is the one I am looking at:
http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/n75-info.html

What do you think?

i thimk that is a good price as that is what i paid for mine, but my offer is still on the table, you could pay 15+ shipping for a good stock n75 or pay 85 for a race valve and that not be the problem

Thanks for the offer but, i think I amgoing to go with the race N75 because I want to get the improved boost performance. Also, I am going to order the forge splitter at the same time I found it for $148.75. Here is the link:

I just tried to order the n75 j from ecstuning and they will only sell the n75 f for 1.8t's. He said there is too many complications with the n75 j and h. Do you guys think I should go with the n75f?? Does anyone have a 01' 1.8t with a GIAC chip running a n75j?? Any problems?
