n75 valve questions??
I'm in the middle of installing a AVCR EBC on my 99 A4 1.8T tip. I hooked up the solenoid valve the way I think the book says to but I'm not 100% comfortable with it. First i need some clarity on the n75. They're 3 lines going into the n75. One big one off the intake manifold, one on the underside of the n75 which goes to a banjo fitting on the turbo compressor side housing, and the other coming off the side of the n75 going to the waste gate actuator. 1st, What is the purpose of the bigger line off the manifold? Is this a "3 way" valve?
The book said to take the vac. line off the actuator and hook it to the common side of the solinoid valve, Done
then take the NO side of the solinoid and hook it to the actuator line off the N75 valve, Done
Basicaly putting the solenoid valve in series with the n75 to the actuator.
So to me it seams the way I have it hooked up now the boost is going to be getting regulated twice, once by the n75 and once by the EBC.
Should I have hooked up the EBC solenoid directly to the banjo on the turbo compressor housing and just put a "jumper" vac line on the n75?
If I'm not mistaken, I want the n75 out of the equation but can't disconnect it because I'll get a CEL...
Does anybody have any experience with this?

RE: n75 valve questions??
Read this topic it should be helpful
as to n75, disconnected all the vac line from it, but like u said keep it plugged in, i keep it somewhere behind air box
