Default My New Lowers

Ok so I got my car back in from the body shop for a new paint job and tell them to paint my lowers, the guy does a really good job on my front and back and side lowers... Only thing is the door moldings (the ones on the bottom of the door) look horrible... They have like a wavy look to them and the guy told me it was because they were old (I have a 97 A4). So he says if I get new ones or even get the S4 ones they will look way better, so I'm stuck and don't know what to do. Should I get the S4 ones do they fit on my 97 A4, or just get the same ones new? Where do you get the S4 ones and how much do they usually go for? The car came out good even the valance came out real good but those moldings look terrible...

lltek has some nice pieces made by Caractere, i think the only thing you need to do is trim or cut off the clips under the old ones, and stick these on

s4 sides tend to get expensive at the dealer, so check the classifieds often. dont get your hopes up though, they are very hard to find.
you can also look for some clean after market sides. i think your best bet is listen to lazer and go with lltek

I see those that on lltek are not so bad they look good, hey better than mine at least. But does anyone know if those are paintable? Are those plastic or are they that rubbery material like the stock ones? Thanks for the help I really appreciate it!
