Sweet! Would you recommend this over IceLink? I have a 30gb ipod, the new one. IceLink is around 200. I'm assuming you know something about this link.
The icelink is more expensive, and, well, you need an iPod (you already have that). I think they are very similar in the way they operate, with the only difference being that the data is stored on an iPod rather than a DMS cartridge. For me (a rebel against this ridiculous iPod bandwagon), this was the cheaper, better choice.

BTW, just to clarify, I'm not putting down IceLinks, they are the only good way to connect your iPod to your car (can't even compare to most other bullsh!t methods), it's only a matter of preference.

Wouldn't IPOD be better, I have a cable that comes out of the CD player and I can just plug, scroll through playlists or albums and listen? That thing seems like its to much.

Given that it would cost about twice as much, and that I hate iPods, no.

I have the ipod interface installed by the dealer..love the functionality but dot like that you cant skip directly to a song. Can you do that with the Phatnoise unit?

Yea that's what it is. DB15 or w/e connecter, yea looks like a serial port on a computer. It's powered the same way a CD changer would be powered. The wiring goes through one cable.
