Got the GIAC flashloaded a couple of days ago along with a n75 j valve. My first impression of the new software before I installed the n75j was that it was just OK. I could feel the torque and the extra hp's but it was not the 45 hp I expected. So I will say that it is OK. BUT................... after I installed the n75j valve I can say that the software is INCREDIBLE. The boost is very balanced now and the car went from 16psi with just the GIAC to 18.5psi. I could never have imagined that the valve would make that much of a difference but it did. I would say that it is a must have for a dhipped car.

I dont know if this is well known to everyone but the n75j valve is a little different from the stock vlave the connector will be on the opposite side and you may have to give the line some more slack to reach. On the 2002 it barely reaches after you get some extra slack. This is a very poor design.

So i'm about to buy a 99 1.8T quattro with plans to chip it soon, i keep hearing about n75 and n75j vavles, what are theses things? Thanks.

 

Sweet.. Just got mine done. I like it so far, but I'm sure I will see more gains with the supporting mods.

 

This may sound stupid, but is the n75j valve different from a DV valve, I got a EVO DV when I got my chip but am unfamiliar with the n75j. Sorry, I'll search now too
