Ah, very true.. guess going with an odd-ball turbo would have several negatives, tuning being an important one. I just wish the k04 were ballbearing... Hmm.

gt28rs with the .64 a/r is probably the best choice for 1 size up on the ko4. The t3/t4 is not ball bearing, its journal bearing i think, but with a good launch 1.8 60' should be possible.

The turbo is a blast to drive i have so much fun. ya there is going to be a lot more tuning involved before it runs really well. i plan to turn the boost it to about 20psi if i can hopefully making 330whp+ maybe more. my car is a 2001 a4 1.8t. btw i have stock exhaust but that is getting fixed with in the month, it should help a ton

i think it will be a custom one because i dont have a cat and i need one. so what i want them to do is have a 2.5 or 2.75 inch pipe that has a section cut out were i can put a cat in when i need to go in for emissions and then take it out afterwards. i do not know what muffler i will go with probably the one that flows the best.
