My Audi is dying. :(
'03 1.8T Quattro.... I have a feeling something is wrong.
I was getting this code last week,
1 Fault Found:
16487 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70): Signal too High
P0103 - 001 - Upper Limit Exceeded - Intermittent - MIL ON
Readiness: 0000 1001
cleared it to see if it would come back, and no problems until early this-morning when all hell broke loose. Any ideas?

RE: My Audi is dying. :(
If you have 75K mi with the origonal MAF replace it.

If you unplug it youll run rich, so if you unplug it and you notice no change, its probably the maf. But a dying maf can have off and on performance so thats not necessarily the best troubleshooting method unless yours is completely dead.

Would a boost leak somewhere cause these problems.... Shortly after I got chipped I noticed the car wasn't idle'n as smooth as it used to. I'm about to try unplugging the maf, (will post results) but would a leak test be prudent?

RE: My Audi is dying. :(
Quick update: With the maf plugged in my CEL blinks, with the maf unplugged it stays solid. (perhaps nothing, but thought I'd mention it) and when my key is in the ingition turned almost all the way I hear some clicking noises followed by a strange almost grinding sound. I'm thinking I should just have it towed to the dealer. :-(
