Hi - was wondering if the forum could put my mind at rest. Every morning for the last 5 days I have woken up to find the parking lights on on my A4.

They definitely weren't on when I parked up the day before. They just seem to come on by themselves, at some point during the night.

Now my battery is completely drained and the car won't start. [&:]

Could my car be haunted? Or is there a more rational explanation - why would the lights come on by themselves?

sounds like its pissed at you, i'd watch out or you might wake up one night with it staring over you!!!

So you are saying that the lever to turn on the lights is up one notch when you come out to the car in the morning? Or are the lights on, but the lever is in the off position?

Ever check the mileage?Are one of your 'friends' taking the pimp mobile out at night for some late night shenanigans?

 

haha, next thing you know it and the neighbors cars are gonna start circling a gas station in the middle of the desert for hours

 

its like the commerical, it drives when you are sleeping. are the just on or are the flashing? cuz my parking lights will flash if the motion alarm is set off and it doesnt always make noise.

 

So your parking lights just come on? And your 100% sure you turn it over to off.... Ok so when you wake up, see there on and get back in the car is the **** turned to the right and on now.. or are the lights on but the ***** still set to "Off" how you set it from the day before. That is wierd man[&:]

 

There isn't a switch for the lights so I'm guessing I may have got my parking lights and my brake lights mixed up?

I don't think anyone is taking it for a drive! Maybe I should note the mileage at the end of every day just in case... (but if that was happening then the battery would still be alive I guess)
