Not sure what happened. Usually if there is overboost the engine will cut the turbo off, but that will last until the code is cleared. Check again for codes that havent tripped a CEL.

 

i don't have direct access to a vagcom up here. I'd have to drive 4 hours to get back to my brother's shop

does anyone think the wastegate could be getting stuck open, or be snagging on something? Letely the car has been running fine, this only happened on the highway. I'm pretty confused as to what it could be, but dont want to just pretend it never happened b/c something worse could go wrong
