idk i usually hit 100 on my way home after work, 15 min drive of open montana country roads, and i never noticed the steering feeling looser, in the audis i noticed it doesn't seem like you are going that fast seems like 80 mph in and audi is like 60 mph in my honda or eclipse, well props for not getting caught wehn street racing, idk i've heard some stories that they are totally cars in California if caught, anyone heard a thing like this??

Not chipped, at least to the best of my knowledge... but the car did have a K&N in it when I bought it. I didn't try pushing it past 135 though, the last thing I wanted to do was Hydroplane and wreck the car.

Yeah, at a certain speed, your ECU will kill the gas going to your engine (an American thing, you'll have no such problems driving a European car on zee Auotbahn) I think it's between 130-140 mph for our cars.

Get a ticket for street racing is a major violation whith insurance companies. Looked at the exact same as drunk driving because it's just as dangerous. Just wait until you kill someone or a family when you hit them at 110 mph. What a dumb thing to do.

A couple of years ago, my brother was out driving his tweaked VW Corrado (V6) on 280 south of San Francisco at 2am. Corrados are very light cars to begin with, and when VW throws in a V6 in the engine bay, it's just asking for trouble. Great place to drive fast on 280 in the middle of the night though... from 380, past 92, down to the Stanford/Page Mill Rd. area. He pegged the speedo in his Corrado @ 140 and still had gas pedal left!

lol my street racing ticket was only 140 bux and no points. but thats only cuz the cop was cool as hell. they're after the dui drivers more in this town.

o and 135 in the rain at night?!?!?! thats crazy bro. on wet road i dont dare taking it past 100. now on dry roads, thats a whole nother story i really need to cool it down tho. its not worth dying over.
