Default A must have for Audi/VW owners!

I relaize it has probably already been said, and recomended... But, I just got my vag tool today and I think it is probably the best investment I'll ever make in that car. I have the kind that works with a laptop. If any of you out there have a laptop, YOU NEED THIS VAG TOOL! I got it for $75, and it has already paid for itself!... And nothing was even wrong with my car! The peace of mind you will have with this tool in your hands is priceless! It gave me a few fault codes which indicated something about the security alarm going off at some time? No big deal. I know Im not the only person out there who had second thoughts when purchasing an a4, this remedies those thoughts. I mean everytime you take your car to a shop for a diagnosis it costs like $50-$80 anyway. This is the same damn thing! GET IT. Very simple to use too.

Yep, I bought mine off tom... it is pretty killer.

I need to figure out how to reset my airbag light... the seat conversion involved unplugging the airbags in the seats, and plugging them back into the new seats... but the damned airbag light is on now. [:@]

The price for the original includes registered software which allows you to do a lot more than the unregistered version.

There are a number of makers of cables that will get codes. They do not come with software.
Non registered copies of the basic software in an older version is available free of charge. This will let you read codes, but not run many of the programming features. link sells one. The non registered software can be obtained from the maker, but no support is provided unless you register.
