Hey does anyone know how to make it that when i make burned cds on the head unit it shows the name of the song and artist, like how do i make it appear, and also over in virginia we got a radio station called hot 99.5, thats the only station that shows the artist and song.

 

first what kind of head unit do you have only some have that option.[sm=smiley15.gif]

 

its a regular stock audi symphony head unit.

 

not going to happen with the stock radio from cd's.

It happens with radio because all radio stations have an extra
band in which they can utilize to send the call signal and limited
information. Some stations use it (it costs them).
Your headunit it equipped to read this band frequency. It has
nothing to do with cd's.
