More rev hanging.

More rev hanging.
I am the new owner of a B5 Audi A4 1.8t Quattro. Whenever I shift I get some pretty hardcore rev hanging. I know how to shift and I have even tried letting off the gas and pushing in the clutch a second later just to make sure and it still just hangs for second. Spirited driving is the worse. Its pretty annoying especially when try to hit second and it hangs at 5K through out the shift. Does anybody else have this problem. How would you fix it.

RE: More rev hanging.
I was thinking its the flywheel since I read how much they weigh. It does seem normal, I am just not use to it is all. So I guess a lightweight flywheel is going in with a new clutch when the time comes. Any recommendations.

RE: More rev hanging.
Overall southbend and unorthadox lwfw go pretty well, you will get chatter since you are going to a single mass aluminum flywheel. The AWE clutch kits are the same the use the unorthadox lwfw but call it Aasco. WOA clutch with their 15lb single mass steel flywheel doesn't chatter much at all from what i read and that is the route im going, they are a bit pricey though. Spec also makes clutches but alot of people have complained about the chatter with a lwfw.
