Default Moonroof Replacement

I have a '98 A4 2.8 Quattro and the moonroof is completely busted. At first it wouldn't close. I finally got it to close manually, but now I won't open it anymore because it's so messed up.

Has anyone had to replace their moonroof? What kind of costs am I looking at?

Can you hear the motor turning, or is it quiet? Did you look for a blown fuse or anything?

It's totally quiet. I think it's completely ruined.

If it s quiet, then the motor isn't working.

Check your fuse box for a blown fuse. If thats not it it may need a new motor.
