Default Mods For $300

O.K so i have about 300 to 350 bucks to spend on my car. But i dont know what to get. I want some thing that might help my HP out. i was looking at the forge DV but i dont really think that will help with much cause my car is still stock. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Or get the SpeedTuning chip for $125 and get some HIDs for under $100.

Look at the thread about it.

You can also do the airbox mod for free and it makes your car sound cooler! Also lets a little more cold air in. You can also do an intercooler setup for under $200. But you should get the chip first if you are going to spend the money.

Do both the Forge 007P DV and the Speed Tuning Chip and a boost gage all for under $300.
I have the same car as you, and I like the gainsthe chip gives a lot.
The Forge DV from ECS Tuning comes with the extra springs, so you don't have to order the spring tuning kit with it.
Do it, you'll like it.

i think u should wait for the chip and build ur car up to it. if i were you i would start with an intake and a test pipe... or intake with the forge... dont go cheap and get the cheapest chip on the market cause its just not worth it and if u go with a more expensive chip it'll be better if u have a nice intake (k&n works just fine and its like 60 bucks) and a better flowing exhaust (testpipe for 160) or a better dv valve. the testpipe does give noticable performance so you'll enjoy it a lot. good luck
