but i played around with plugs and wires, it's not a constant misfire, only under medium/hard acceleration. drives perfectly fine under light acceleration. idels perfectly.

well i change plugs on cyl 4. no diff, changed the wire from 4 to 2 (this uses the same coil pack), and there, scanner now says plug 2 misfire. so i ordered wires. that should be able to solve it.

Thanks for the pics, did not realize your coils were so different than the 1.8.

 

i replaced the wires(120 at oriely), runs fine now. thank god it wasn't anything major, already spending too much on the car. lol
