Default Mechanical cooling fan

Does anyone know how to remove this blade? I need to take the compressor out and the blade is blocking me from pulling it out.

I believe that is viscous cooling fan

looks like you have the screws out already, the blade should just pop right off. If you need to remove the pulley, its a reverse threaded nut on the back (lefty tighty) and its the pulley that requires the dreaded audi chopsticks tool to hold still while you try to turn the nut. There are a couple work arounds but most are pretty sketchy. I tied mine to the frame to hold it still.

hopefully someone else will chime in here with some suggestions

thanks mate, but it won't just pop off. I don't need the pulley off, and if I pull any harder I'll break the plastic blade or something else. That plastic blade is blocking the a/c compressor from coming out; it's the only thing in the way.
