mbc, n75h, electronic boost controller?...
so after all the talk about a mbc is better....
and other people saying the n75h is better....
Im still undecisive on what i should get. Basically my question is, can you just buy a electronic boost controller and be done with it? To what i assume, if i buy say a turbo timer/boost controller it would eliminate any little piece to adjust little amount of boost under the hood and have a boost guage on it as well. It would solve two problems at once. Or am i wrong and completely missing something here.

The N75 is a EBC, & it works. A MBC will give you more boost on the high end, but will shorten turbo life, same as the EBC, but has finer adjustment & lets you adjust when you're driving.
I would leave the N75 in, till you get enough other mods on the where you need to fine tune the boost. More boost= more fuel & a change in timing.

im asking this cause im about to put my K04 in with intercooler, full exhaust and many other mods. Im trying to figure out what or which one i should buy still. So are you saying the boost controllers you can put inside the car is a waste of money? I know there was a post a couple days ago about running the mb parallel to a n75h but i am trying to get at if they are both needed...or what is the best way to go

A mbc/ebc will get the turbo to spool up faster and hold boost longer than a n75. Also you will be able to raise and lower the boost to specific psi where a n75 can not.All you need is a simple bleed style mbc for a stock turbo. A bleedvalve will make the boost come on much smoother than a ball and spring mbc.

n75 works well with chipped k03's but if your uprgading the turbo a mbc/ebc will be better. if you dont plan on changing the boost except on rare occasionsjust get a mbc. you'll have to pop the hood when you want to up the boost but it will be cheaper than a ebc. get an ebc if you have the money.

almost any mbc will work. none are gona work better with a k04.
