Maybe easy fix for fading LCD on instrument panel!

seems like these dang LCD screens are screwin up in everyone car.. bummer. a design mistake?
whatever the how2 doenst look that hard.. might get on that.

Ok i did this prcedure yesterday and it did not make any difference. I dont understand why putting a frekin bunch of sticky junk under the screen frame is supposed to make it better, i dont think this post os for everyone.

while I don't have this issue, and who knows if it works, but a material that might be easily designed to fit in there would be small foam weather stripping, or a thin piece of foam core (the stuf posters are mounted to) could be easily cut to the demensions. Just an idea.

If you read the first thread it states that in some cases the ribbon connecting to the screen can become detached due to glue used not holding it in place and when it gets hot, and when cold it works better but this will not work for all or if any but one person who tried it said it did but for me it did not so maybe I need a ribbon.
