massive amount of water
ok so after the accident my car still messed up cause the body shop didnt fix it right. i've been waiting for the body shop to call me back and today they finally did. i took it into this mechanics place that specializes in VW so hopefully i'll get the car back fixed right this time (car was running lean). now for the weird problem. when i got the car back from the body dhop the first time there was a fair amount of water on the driver side floor, both front and back. at first i thought some idiot just left a window open and had the body shop detail the car as compensation. well i get into my car today to take it into the shop and my floor is SOAKED again. i mean i took the floor mat out from the back and it was dripping. at least a gallon of water was back there. WTF? when i took it into the mechanics place he asked if i had a sunroof, which i do. but the roof is completely dry along with the rest of the car. its only the driverside floor. they said something about the sunroof drain plugs being backed up and that causing it. any help is appreciated.

RE: massive amount of water
ive herd about the sun roof drain plugs, but i thoguth that only affected the back floor mats.
You never know though, get it checked out!
something might be leaking in from the engine bay my friend.. get it all checked out!

RE: massive amount of water
ya its gettin checked out now. the back was a LOT wetter than the front so maybe it just moved its way up. but the strange thing is that it was dry 2 days ago when i last drove it and it hasn't rained since
