Mass air flow

RE: Mass air flow
1. Get rid of the K&N.
2. Take the part number off your maf and add an "X" to the suffex. That means it factory refurbished and every bit as good as a non-refurbished. (It's also rumored that the "X" mafs are just overstock new but are sold at refurbished prices to protect the price on the "new" ones.)
3. go to www.1stvwparts.com and see how much they want. they are the cheapest place I've found and with three audis, i need cheap.

RE: Mass air flow
i appreciate the help. i just cant beleive that the dealership cant exactly point out the problem. you think that when you pay the fee to have checked they would know. they have told me many different things and its a pain in the ***. i have researched and nobody can give me an exact answer on the problem. i just dont want to buy a MAF and air sensors if they are not the problem. God this car is getting to be a pain in the ****!
