Dude I had push down reverse and I disabled it by installing the SS. Good riddance!

 

hmmm so if you pull straight down from 5th gear to downshift to 4th...does it want pull straight down wanting to go into reverse sometimes?

 

when going from 5th to 4th I first move it out of gear, let the shifter center, and kick it back to 4th. Besides, reverse will grind if you try to go into it from a forward gear when in motion.

 

yeah i dont know what i was thinking when i asked that. When i go from 5th to 4th i do the same thing..let it center and then right down...

idk why i just thought it would be easier to mis shift but i see now why it really wouldnt be a problem
