Default Major problems

this all started yesterday when my radiator fans would not kick on when my car would get to hot. I called my local audi service provied to ask about simple solutions before i took the car in. I was told to check the fuse panel for a blown fuse which i did and the fuse panel shows a fuse position for the radiator fan which did not have a fuse or a fuse connector. With the key off and out of the ignition i went through the fuse panel and looked for blown fuses to solve the problem. There were no blown fuses but when i got back in the car it would not start just turn over and my keyless quit working. i unhooked the battery for an hour to reset the system and rechecked fuses to make sure nothing got blown in the process but the same result. Does anyone have any ideas of what this could be or dealt with this problem?

Default RE: Major problems

Sounds like it could be the coolant temp sensor, try flooring it while turning the key over and let off as soon as it starts...if it does. A coolant temp sensor giving false signals can make the ecu think the car is warm when it's not and it will give it less gas when it is warmed up so the car won't start because there is not enough gas there. That would have nothing to do with the locks though.
