Lucas gas treatment - A must read!
On Sunday October 3rd, I poured a bottle of Lucas gas treatment along with 92 octane gas to fill my tank. Monday morning I got CEL and codes system too lean and misfires "intermittent". Cleared it Monday night and Tuesday afternoon showed up again.
I was worried that I may have fouled the injector. Called Lucas on Wednesday and asked for their help and advise. The gentleman at Lucas said that it shouldn't happen but you never know. He said that their product shouldn't caused any damaged and it will burnt itself up. Anyway, Thursday morning the weather is a bit cool and my car started really well and idle smoothly. I took it on the Highway and I couldn't believe the pick up and acceleration it now has. It looks like the car is possessed. This morning it did the same thing and it seems much better feel. Verdict: The Lucas helps and it does work! Your CEL may come on and you may need to clear it. I have a 2001 A4 1.8TQ.

RE: Lucas gas treatment - A must read!
i second that it just needed time to do its thing. Lucas is a great company I use its stabilizers in my mazda motor oil and they seem to work well. I would imagine that it wouild be great for your turbo motors as well
