the mesh is actually off of an old kenworth truck front grill that my dad and i hacked up and painted black, and yes they r held on with zip ties lol but u cant notice them unless u are like 6 inchs from the car and i point em out.

Looks great dude, where'd you get the mesh? Are they Andy Sprauge, or courtesy of the Home Cheapo? If so, what guage wire did you use? Held in with zip ties?

Nice, you definitely score 5 McGuyver points for originality.
My biggest beef with lots of the DIY mesh lowers is they don't exactly match the mesh pattern of the RS4 grill. The spacing is different, the wires aren't thick enough, etc. But that looks like a spot-on match. Gonna have to find me some of those :-)
